Hello and Welcome.

I am Jamila Kani, an EMDR Certified Therapist and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) in Training serving the Washington Metropolitan Area (DC, MD, VA). 

​

I specialize in using EMDR and somatic therapy to clear the residue of unresolved trauma and return the body and mind to a state of balance and stability.

​

I have spent the past ten years dedicated to the study of mental health, trauma, and the resiliency of humans. I enjoy working with clients of all identities and have extensive experience working with folks from historically marginalized backgrounds and across the gender spectrum. I work with people ages 18 and older.​​​​
